My travels so far in 2009

2009 is already proving a busy year for Eric as he travels around Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia teaching and training at schools, universities and corporate offices as well as presenting at conferences. Here's a snapshot of his travels so far this year.

January:
- Northside Christian College and Genesis Christian College in Brisbane, Qld, Australia
- Leamington Primary School, Pukete Primary School and Arohena Primary School in Hamilton, New Zealand
- Southland College in Winton, NZ

February:

- Southern Edge Schools Cluster in Dunedin, NZ
- Lectures at Bond university and Griffith University on the Gold Coast, Qld, Australia
- Bibra Lakes Primary School (teacher workshop and classroom demonstrations) in Perth, WA, Aus
- Australian International School in Singapore

March:

- Lectures at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, Qld, Aus
- St Peter's Campus of All Saints College in Maitland, NSW, Aus
- Lecture at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Qld, Aus
- Lecture at University of the Sunshine Coast, in Sippy Downs, Qld, Aus
- With University of Otago, Eric presented all-day teacher workshops in Christchurch, New Plymouth, Nelson and Dunedin plus teaching a wonderful Year 4 class of students at St Clair School, Dunedin, NZ (thanks to Clare their teacher for a great
session!)
- After-school session at Redlands Bay State School, Qld, Aus (after-school session)
- TAFE teachers in Brisbane, Qld, Aus
- Lecture for the dynamic Dr Katie Weir at Southern Cross University in Lismore, Qld, Aus 

April:

- Four days in Perth with the ITC Key Teacher Training program for the Peel-Fremantle District. Gerard Alford and Eric presented workshops to 46 Key Teachers and their principals as well as presenting demonstration lessons at Burrendah PS, Ardross PS, Rossmoyne PS and Willeton SHS, WA, Aus
- Four days in Broome presenting Broad Brush Unit Planning for three days at Broome SHS (what an inspirational school!!) to all the staff as well as training nine Key Teachers and one-day of demo lessons on Goldilocks and Island Survival at Broome PS (one of the most attractive schools I have seen) as well as an after-school workshop
- Three days working with all 200 teachers at the Westmount Education Trust in Mangere, Auckland, NZ 
- Four days in Perth at Rossmoyne PS, St Luke's Catholic School and Leeming PS (two days), WA, Aus
